Make intelligence testable.
Make evidence visible.
Lablyzer Research is the proposed framework for clinical AI research, validation, and responsible development across the platform.
Research program in developmentA shared standard for different questions.
Document extraction, longitudinal modeling, and cancer-specific prediction are different tasks. Research is intended to give each a suitable question, evaluation plan, governance structure, and evidence threshold rather than treating all AI capabilities as equally established.
What the module starts with
- Specific clinical or technical questions
- Governed datasets and documented methods
- Clinical feedback and evaluation criteria
What it aims to support
- Task-specific evaluation plans
- Transparent evidence and limitations
- Advance, revise, pause, or stop decisions
Follow the information.
Explore each stage.
Select a stage to see what happens, what it produces, and where review belongs. This is an illustration of the intended workflow.
Define the task and governance.
Specify the intended use, population, outcome, setting, data permissions, and evaluation responsibilities. The question should be narrow enough to test and meaningful enough to matter in a real workflow.
Study performance and limitations.
The proposed process examines data quality, external and temporal validity, subgroup behavior, calibration where relevant, and error patterns. Measures must fit the specific task being evaluated.
Investigate use in practice.
Before any clinical deployment, the intended workflow needs appropriate prospective evaluation, usability review, and scrutiny of possible harms. A retrospective model metric is not a substitute for that work.
Monitor and revise responsibly.
If a capability reaches deployment, the plan must include monitoring, change control, reassessment, and criteria for pausing or withdrawing it. New evidence should be able to change the product.
Different tasks need different evidence.
For extraction, the question may be whether a source value was captured correctly. For prediction, the question involves a defined outcome, population, and time horizon. The proposed Research framework keeps these evaluations distinct rather than transferring confidence from one task to another.
Match the evaluation
to the responsibility.
| Research area | Evaluation question | Important boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Report extraction | Was the source information captured correctly? | Extraction accuracy is not diagnostic validity. |
| Longitudinal organization | Are dates, units, and comparable records handled correctly? | A displayed pattern does not establish its cause. |
| Cancer-specific prediction | Does the model meet the intended-use criteria in suitable evaluation data? | Development results do not establish clinical utility. |
| Clinical workflow | Is the system appropriate and useful in its intended setting? | Human oversight and prospective evaluation matter. |
Proposed evaluation questions. No completed validation results are asserted.
A little more clarity.
What evidence has Lablyzer published here?
No completed clinical validation studies are presented on this website. The content describes the intended research and evaluation approach.
Does Research include specialized liquid-biopsy imaging?
That may be a future, separate research modality. It would require dedicated imaging data, methods, and validation; it is not routine laboratory PDF interpretation.
How can a clinician or researcher get involved?
The contact page can prepare a collaboration enquiry about intended use, evaluation design, data quality, or workflow fit. Contact delivery is not connected in this preview; do not include patient information.
