Investigate the signal.
Earn the evidence.
Lablyzer Detect is a research-stage direction for cancer-specific risk prediction. It focuses on clearly defined questions, appropriate datasets, and validation before any clinical claim.
Research-stage onlyOne defined question at a time.
A useful research question specifies the cancer type, population, clinical setting, outcome, and prediction horizon. Detect is not a general promise to identify cancer from any blood test. Each proposed application would need its own evidence and limitations.
What the module starts with
- Governed, task-specific research datasets
- Explicit outcome definitions and labels
- A pre-specified population and time horizon
What it aims to support
- Research evaluations and error analysis
- Calibration and subgroup assessment plans
- Evidence for whether further study is justified

Explore each stage.
Select a stage to see what happens, what it produces, and where review belongs. This is an illustration of the intended workflow.
Specify the intended question.
The research plan must define who the model is for, which cancer-specific outcome it addresses, the time horizon, and what decision a result could inform. Those choices determine what evidence is needed.
Examine the data and model.
Candidate models would require governed data, reliable outcome labels, careful handling of missingness, and controls against leakage. Development performance alone is not evidence of clinical suitability.
Evaluate beyond development.
The proposed evaluation considers external and temporal data, calibration, relevant subgroups, and error patterns. A model that fails the criteria should return for revision or be stopped.
Decide whether to advance.
Any move toward clinical use would need appropriate prospective evaluation, human oversight, applicable regulatory review, and a defined workflow. Advancement is conditional, not automatic.
A promising development result is not the finish line.
Imagine a candidate model that performs differently in a new clinical setting. The proposed workflow investigates the difference, reports the limitations, and revises or stops the model instead of presenting the original result as universally applicable.
A little more clarity.
Can I receive a cancer-risk score?
No. Detect is a research-stage direction, not an available prediction service. This website does not calculate personal cancer risk.
Is this part of the routine lab demo?
No. The demo illustrates data organization and timelines. It contains no cancer prediction model or hidden diagnostic scoring.
How is Detect different from Research?
Detect describes a specific research application: cancer-specific prediction. Lablyzer Research describes the wider evaluation, governance, and validation framework that would be needed to assess it.
